Bringing a da Vinci Surgical System
to Newport Hospital

Newport Hospital’s skilled surgical team delivers exceptional patient care, achieving outstanding outcomes across a wide range of procedures. Today, these surgeries are performed using traditional open and laparoscopic techniques. Our goal is to acquire the da Vinci Surgical System, a leading-edge robotic platform that enables surgeons to perform minimally invasive procedures with unparallelled precision, flexibility, and control.

Family Festival

Newport Hospital’s First Family Festival
Comes to Peabody's Beach

Newport Hospital held its first-ever Family Festival at Peabody’s Beach on September 14, and it was an unforgettable afternoon of seaside fun. More than 300 guests came together to enjoy carnival games, face painting, caricature artists, live music, and classic beach favorites like lobster rolls, fish and chips, clam cakes, and chowder – all under sunny skies. We are deeply grateful to our incredible hosts, Hope van Beuren and Tom Haggerty, and to our generous sponsors whose support made this celebration possible. It was a joyful day of laughter, community, and connection that raised more than $300,000 in support of Newport Hospital’s mission to care for the families we serve.
