An Evening of Enchantment and Generosity
for Hasbro Children’s

Once upon a time, more than 600 guests stepped into a magical evening at the Rhode Island Convention Center for the Hasbro Children’s Heroes Ball to celebrate the real-life heroes whose stories inspire hope and healing. Moved by their courage, donors raised over $1.25 million in support of Hasbro Children’s mission, with $390,000 benefiting the evening’s fund-a-need, focused on advancing pediatric pulmonary care.

Against a backdrop of twinkling lights and whimsical décor, and under the leadership of event chair Denise Chakoian, the event honored the strength of Hasbro Children’s patients, the dedication of its caregivers, and the generosity of a community committed to ensuring every child’s story has the chance for a happy ending.

Thank you to Spirit Halloween/Spirit of Children!

On March 11, Spirit of Children and Spirit Halloween presented a check for $145,795 to support Child Life Services at Hasbro Children’s. Each Fall, Spirit of Children brings Halloween magic to young patients and their families, helping to make the hospital experience a little less scary. But their generosity extends far beyond October. Through point-of-sale donations and their 10% off coupon program, they also provide year-round support to Child Life Services. Since 2011, Spirit of Children has donated an incredible $1,202,996 to Hasbro Children’s, making a lasting impact on the children in our care.

On March 4, patients at Hasbro Children’s received a heartwarming surprise as team members from Re-Bath and the Providence Bruins delivered teddy bears collected during the Teddy Bear Toss at the previous night’s hockey game. Thanks to the generosity and support of these valued community partners, and the enthusiastic fans who took part, the hospital was filled with smiles and lifted spirits. As the event sponsor, Re-Bath played a key role in making the Teddy Bear Toss a success, helping to raise vital funds for Hasbro Children’s.

DJ’s Journey of Strength and Hope

Born at just 24 weeks and weighing a mere one pound, DJ’s early days were filled with uncertainty. After months of challenges in a South Dakota hospital, DJ’s family made the life-changing decision to transfer him to Hasbro Children’s.

SAVE THE DATE! The 2025 Hasbro Children’s Golf Invitational – July 21, 2025

Since 1996, the Hasbro Children’s Golf Invitational has attracted a flight of 30 foursomes, all swinging into action for the children and families at Hasbro Children’s. The day’s activities include a luncheon, a round of golf, an awards dinner, and of course, special gifts and surprises.
