30th Annual Hasbro Children’s Golf Invitational
Sets a New Record
On July 20, 2026, under sunny skies and ideal course conditions, 128 golfers enjoyed a memorable 30th annual Hasbro Children’s Golf Invitational at Rhode Island Country Club. The day proved to be a winner on and off the greens, setting a new fundraising record of $500,000 to support programs such as the Aubin Child Protection Center and pediatric hematology/oncology.
Lawrence A. Aubin, Sr., Chairman Emeritus of the Brown University Health Board of Directors, has chaired the event since its inception and was joined this year by new co-chair, Jesse Carr. Jesse carried on the legacy of his late father, James L. “Jamo” Carr, Jr., who served as co-chair for 17 years. Together, they honored Jamo while helping shape the event’s next chapter.
This year’s Champion Child, seven-year-old Jasper Casey, brought lots of energy and personality to the day. His participation was a firsthand reminder to players of why they participate—to support patients like Jasper! A budding golfer himself, Jasper was full of high fives and kicked things off with an enthusiastic “Let’s goooo!” that no one will soon forget.
Of the 32 foursomes competing for the Aubin Cup, first-time sponsor Keches Law Group unseated three-time reigning champion Hart Companies to claim this year’s title.
Thank you to all players and supporters, including presenting sponsor University Orthopedics, for making this milestone event so special. Since the tournament began three decades ago, more than $8 million has been raised to support programs at Hasbro Children’s.
