We are thrilled to return to scenic Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, RI. The day’s activities will include a luncheon, a round of golf, an awards dinner, a spirited auction, and, of course, special gifts and surprises. Since its inception in 1996, this fun-filled tournament has raised over $7 million, thanks to generous supporters like you.

In Loving Memory of Jamo Carr

Jamo CarrWith deep sadness and profound gratitude, we remember James L. “Jamo” Carr Jr., longtime co-chair of the Hasbro Children’s Golf Invitational, who passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2025.

Since 2007, Jamo has served as co-chair and helped raise more than $5 million in support of Hasbro Children's, bringing his signature passion, generosity, and larger-than-life spirit to every moment. Whether on the course, in a boardroom, or behind the scenes, Jamo inspired those around him with his unwavering commitment to community and care for children.

A builder by trade and by nature, Jamo left an indelible mark not only on New England’s skylines, but on countless lives through his friendship, philanthropy, and vision. His legacy will live on in the walls of our hospital, in the strength of the event he helped grow, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

As we gather for this year’s tournament, we do so in Jamo’s honor with the same bold spirit, passion, and unwavering dedication that he brought to everything he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
