Iced Coffee Day and Dunkin Room

Iced Coffee Day & the New Dunkin’ Family Room

On June 20, Dunkin’ held its annual Iced Coffee Day at participating stores in the region raising an incredible $127,000! Money raised goes to crucial programs at Hasbro Children’s that provide a state-of-the-art healing environment for pediatric patients. The 2024 Iced Coffee Day was extra special with the opening of the newly renovated Dunkin’ Family Room on the sixth floor of Hasbro Children’s.

Turkey Trot Throwdown

Thanks + Giving Turkey Throwdown

This year marked the 17th Annual Thanks + Giving Turkey Throwdown organized by Denise Chakoian and our friends at CORE Cycle.Fitness.Lagree. With over 150 participants, this year’s fitness-filled Thanksgiving morning raised over $45,000 for pediatric cancer at Hasbro Children’s and featured a 45-minute bootcamp and 4-mile run/walk.

What Every Parent Should Know
about Car Seats and Winter Coats

It is well known that car seats save lives. But when they are not used correctly, even the priciest or best-rated car seats will not protect a child the way they are meant to.

Many parents of young children are aware of the “pinch test.” After placing your child in the car seat and tightening the harness, you should not be able to pinch any of the webbing material at the collarbone level. However, during the winter when children are often layered with outerwear to keep warm, wearing a bulky jacket while in a car seat can actually be dangerous.
