University of Rhode IslandEvery Rhody Baseball strikeout, win, hit, stolen base and home run during the 2024 season will raise money for Hasbro Children's.

URI BaseballDuring the 2024 season, URI Baseball will be partnering with Hasbro Children’s, located in Providence, Rhode Island to raise money for the hospital and trauma center. Throughout the year, every Rhody strikeout, win, hit, home run, and stolen base will contribute directly to the children's hospital. The fundraiser will consist of five different pledge levels, ranging from one through five. At each level, a dollar amount is attached to each of the aforementioned statistical categories.

Prior to the season-opener at UTRGV on Feb. 16, generous donors can choose one of these levels to pledge and then enjoy following along throughout the year to track both the Rams' progress on the field and in their fundraising efforts. At the end of the year, the team's final stats will determine the total dollar amount of each pledge level, with the ensuing donations going straight to the children's hospital.

The levels are stacked so that the projected dollar amount increases with each jump. For example, at level one, each pitched strikeout and hit is worth 3 cents, each win and home run is worth 50 cents, and each stolen base is worth 5 cents.
