A storybook fairytale came to life on March 8, 2025, at the RI Convention Center as Hasbro Children's held its 2025 Heroes Ball – Once Upon a Time. Heartwarming stories of hope and healing were shared to a packed ballroom of over 600 donors. Former patients told their stories of how Hasbro Children's shaped their lives. Inspired donors raised over $1.25 million in support of Hasbro Children’s mission, with $390,000 benefiting the evening’s fund-a-need, focused on advancing pediatric pulmonary care.

Gabby began to experience chronic pain, headaches, and stiffness of her joints. She was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder (FND), a medical condition where patients experience real neurologic symptoms which can be impairing, but not caused by any identifiable medical condition.
