On June 18, supporters gathered at historic Ochre Court at Salve Regina University in Newport for Bravo Bradley 2026: A Gilded Evening for Our Kids and Families, an elegant and heartfelt celebration of hope, healing, and the power of community. Co-chaired by Bill and Lauren Tracey, the evening raised a record-breaking $1.5M in support of Bradley Hospital’s mission to care for children, adolescents, and families across the region.
Set within the timeless grandeur of Ochre Court, the theme of a gilded evening reflected not only the elegance of the venue, but also the shared belief that every child deserves the chance to move toward a brighter future with expert care and compassionate support.

Co-chairs Bill and Lauren Tracey (pictured above) spoke about the importance of Bradley’s work and the growing need for mental health support for young people. They reflected on what it means for families to know Bradley is there in life’s most difficult moments and emphasized what is possible when children receive the right help at the right time.
The emotional center of the evening came with remarks from patient speaker Sadie, an 18-year-old senior in high school, who shared her powerful story of struggle, resilience, and recovery. With honesty and remarkable poise, Sadie described how Bradley’s outpatient program helped her learn to live alongside difficult thoughts and emotions, rebuild confidence, and begin to imagine a future she once thought was out of reach. Her words offered a moving reminder that healing often happens gradually, and that sustained support can change the course of a young person’s life.
That message was carried directly into this year’s fund-a-need appeal. Dr. Henry Sachs noted, outpatient care is where many children and families continue the work of healing after crisis – learning to manage emotions, strengthen relationships, return to school, and build the skills needed for everyday life. These programs serve thousands of children and adolescents each year and are essential to ensuring families can access timely, expert care close to home.

Guests also heard the story of Cristian and Isabella, siblings who both received care through Bradley’s outpatient programs, along with reflections from their parents, Shirley and Carlos. Their family’s experience underscored the persistence, partnership, and hope that outpatient services can make possible – not only for young people, but for the families who support them every step of the way. Moved by their story and the evening’s call to action, guests responded with record-breaking generosity, raising $719,000 through fund-a-need contributions to help expand access to this vital care.
The evening also featured a lively auction led by Harry Santa-Olalla, followed by dessert, coffee, and music as guests continued the celebration inside Ochre Court. Throughout the night, the sense of purpose was unmistakable: this was more than a beautiful evening – it was an investment in children, families, and the future of mental health care.

Bravo Bradley 2026 was made possible by the leadership of its co-chairs, the commitment of the event committee, and the extraordinary generosity of sponsors, donors, and guests. Event leadership recognized Title Sponsor Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation; Premier Sponsors Susan O. and David A. Brown and TRAC Builders; and Platinum Sponsors Amica Insurance and Christine and William Carr, along with the many additional supporters whose partnership helped bring the evening to life.
Since its founding in 2011, Bravo Bradley has raised more than $12 million to support Bradley Hospital. This year’s event carried that tradition forward with grace, warmth, and purpose, a truly gilded evening in support of kids and families who count on Bradley’s care and expertise.
